▶️ FAQ's
✔️Does it include a full year of review? This resource contains 32 weeks of daily math review (4 8-week sets, 160 days). I consider this a full year of review because most teachers won't be able to start math review on day 1 and will miss some days due to short weeks, holidays, school events, etc. The goal is to complete all 32 weeks so that students have reviewed all the essential skills.
✔️How much time does it take? For BIG results, I recommend giving students 10-15 minutes daily to complete the work independently (works well as morning work or as part of math rotations/choices) and then spending about 15 minutes going over it with students. For best results, I'd go over the work with students at least 3 times a week (if you don't have time to do it daily).
✔️Does this cover ALL 3rd grade standards? This resource covers most 3rd math standards, but not all. It was originally created based on the Texas TEKS, and then expanded to include Common Core math standards. I focused this review on skills and problem-types that historically challenged my 3rd-graders.
✔️Is this resource good for standardized test prep? Absolutely! This is the most powerful math test prep tool I've ever used with my students.
✔️Are there answer keys? This resource includes scoring samples, but does not include individual answer keys for each page. The Math Review Routine is about modeling good strategies (which vary by state, district, teacher, etc.) The teacher is meant to go over the work WITH students to model and check.
