Geometry on the Slopes: A Ski Resort Design Challenge! Design a Ski Resort Geometry Project for 3rd Grade! Looking for an engaging way to teach and assess geometry concepts? In this highly engaging Project Based Learning (PBL) activity, students become ski resort designers and create their own mountain resort while applying important 3rd grade geometry skills.
Students design a ski mountain, ski trails, lifts, lodge, village, and other resort features while identifying, drawing, and labeling geometry vocabulary throughout their project.
