Everything is done and ready to be assigned to your students via a link! Or, use the printable versions for an easy beginning of the year math assessment.

You’ll get:

-a one page math assessment for each standard.

-answer keys for each page.

-student recording sheets: printable, kid-friendly pages where students can color in the standard and write the date they mastered it.

-printable, student-friendly standards: all of the math standards written out on kid-friendly pages with matching borders.

The bottom of each assessment page allows students to select if they have completed the page themselves, or if they have had a little or a lot of help. This helps students reflect on their learning and develop a growth mindset. Assessments can be used to help students learn and grow, and these pages offer teachers and students that option while still allowing the pages to be used as more of a 'test' style assessment.

UPDATE: These math assessments now include interactive digital versions!! The same printable pages are available as digital versions. They have been prepared for you with answer boxes and updated directions. They can be edited, adapted, and assigned to students via a link.

Use these for:

-beginning of the year math assessments (pre-tests)

-collecting proof of student mastery

-test prep and practice

-tracking student progress and data

-showing students’ work in their portfolios

-progress report or report card data

-end of the year assessments (post-tests)

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
