Product Description

This is a set of early multiplication centers which focus on the facts for 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 10s. For each multilple 6 centers are included. These centers can be used in isolation (ex: practicing 2s facts with arrays) or can be put together for mixed review (ex: practicing arrays with facts for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10).

For each center you will receive an instruction page which can be left at the station to guide students, all materials and a student recording form to be used for accountability.

Multiplication Centers Include

Skip Counting- Prepare station by cutting out skip counting numbers and putting them in baggies labeled with the number the students are skip counting by. Only one recording sheet is needed for skip counting by 2,3,4,5 and 10.

Skip Count Fill-Ins – Cut out fill-in strips and laminate so students can write on the strips with a dry erase marker. One recording sheet is needed for each skip count number. Consider copying the recording sheet as a ½ sheet as a full sized sheet is not needed for the center.

Product Match-Ups – To prepare, cut out each “dinosaur bone” and then cut it in half just before the = sign. They can be cut directly up and down or in a zig-zag pattern for a self correcting station. One recording sheet is needed for each multiplication pattern.

Equal Groups Multiplication- Cut out equal groups strips and laminate so students can write on the strips. One recording sheet is needed for each group size. Consider copying the recording sheet as a ½ sheet as a full sized sheet is not needed for the center.

Arrays– Cut out each rectangle and laminate so students can write on the problem with a dry erase marker. **There is no recording sheet for this station.

Drawing Arrays– Cut out each rectangle and laminate so students can write on the problem with a dry erase marker. One recording sheet is needed for any combination of 10 problems. Copied front to back you would have enough boxes for students to record all 20 array drawing problems.
