A complete math program takes a balance of many components including Daily Spiral Review as well as Daily Problem Solving. This product was written to use for Spiral Review, Numeracy Practice, and Problem Solving in 3rd Grade.
This is the 1st of 6 parts and has enough work to last 6 WEEKS and is designed to begin the 1st Week of school.
Remember…This 1st part (sets 1-6) reviews 2nd Grade TEKS. However, the Number of the Day covers 2nd and 3rd Grade TEKS. Parts 2-6 (sets 7-36) gradually cover 3rd grade TEKS.
It should be used in conjunction with the Number of the Day and Problem of the Day—which are included in this product.

It was created to be a “Bellwork” assignment, but there are lots of other ways to use it in a classroom. Many teachers have used these as a Math Work Station or for homework.
The problems are not of a HIGH difficulty level and are not in test format They are intended to help give a QUICK review of the basic skills needed.
I like to check the problems with the students shortly after they have completed them, so they get the quick feedback.
SCORE SHEET: You can track students’ progress for intervention and RTI using the “Score Sheet” that is found at the end of this document. There is now a Score Sheet for the “Problem of the Day” and “Number of the Day” that can be copied on the back of the Spiral Review Score Sheet.
