3rd Grade Rounding: 3rd Grade Rounding Whole Numbers to the Nearest Ten and Hundred ~ Differentiated Task Cards ~ For Small Group or Independent Practice.
These 24 task cards directly support Common Core 3.NBT.A.1 and 3.OA.D.8 as well as TEKS 3.2c and 3.4b.
Additionally, four task cards can be substituted in the stack to support those who need assistance with critical thinking and tasks that raise the rigor.
Eight additional cards can be substituted to increase the challenge for students who have developed number sense and mental math skills. These cards offer two step problems and encourage the use of place value to round whole numbers to the nearest ten and hundred.
These differentiated task cards include both color and black and white and can be used in small groups or for independent practice. Number lines, Base-ten Blocks, and the Hundreds Charts are used as pictorial models to support student understanding. They are created to encourage the necessary knowledge and skills required to master the rounding standards.
