(Readiness Standard) TEKS: 3.2A: The student will compose decompose numbers up to 100,000 as a sum of so many ten thousands, so many thousands, so many hundreds, so many tens, and so many ones using objects, pictorial models, and numbers, including expanded notation as appropriate

-Card #2 - Comparing and Ordering Numbers
(Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.2D: The student will compare and order whole numbers up to 100,000 and represent comparisons using the symbols >, <, or =

-Card #3- Representing Fractions
(Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.3F: The student will represent equivalent fractions with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 using a variety of objects and pictorial models, including number lines

Card #4: Comparing Fractions
(Readiness Standard) TEKS: 3.3H: The student will compare two fractions having the same numerator or denominator in problems by reasoning about their sizes and justifying the conclusion using symbols, words, objects, and pictorial models

-These cards have a total of 32 questions that mirror those seen on the 3rd Grade STAAR Math

-Suggestions on how to use card:

Option 1: Use each card as a small group station and have students show their work and answers on their recording sheet
