-Card #1 - Multiplication and Division Problem Solving (8 questions)
TEKS: (Readiness Standard) TEKS: 3.4K - The student will solve one‐step and two‐step problems involving multiplication and division within 100 using strategies based on objects; pictorial models, including arrays, area models, and equal groups; properties of operations; or recall of facts

(Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.4B- The student will represent and solve one‐ and two‐step multiplication and division problems within 100 using arrays, strip diagrams, and equation

-Card #2- Addition and Subtraction Problem Solving (8 questions)
TEKS: (Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.4A- The student will solve with fluency one‐step and two‐step problems involving addition and subtraction within 1,000 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and the relationship between addition and subtraction

(Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.5A- The student will represent one‐ and two‐step problems involving addition and subtraction of whole numbers to 1,000 using pictorial models, number lines, and equations

Card #3- Relationship in Number Pairs
(Readiness Standard) TEKS 3.5E- The student will represent real‐world relationships using number pairs in a table and verbal descriptions

Card #4- Multiplication and Division Supporting Standards

TEKS 3.4D- The student will determine the total number of objects when equally sized groups of objects are combined or arranged in arrays up to 10 by 10

TEKS 3.4E- The student will represent multiplication facts by using a variety of approaches such as repeated addition, equal‐sized groups, arrays, area models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automatically and recall the corresponding division

TEKS 3.4F- The student will recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the corresponding division facts

TEKS 3.4G - The student will use strategies and algorithms, including the standard algorithm, to multiply a two‐digit number by a one‐digit number. Strategies may include mental math, partial products, and the commutative, associative, and distributive properties

*Suggestions on How to Use Cards*

Option 1: Use each card as a small group station. Have students rotate to complete cards. (Example Card #1 would be Station #1)

Option 2: Use the cards as worksheets. Print out and have students use as Bell Ringers, Review, Mini-Assessments

Option 3: Use the cards during small group or intervention time. Use the cards when you are working with students in in small group or one on one.

*Of course this is just as option there are many ways to use these cards to help better meet the needs of your students* :)
