    Are you looking for Google Ready test prep materials to review 3rd Grade Next Generation Science? This "no prep" bundle contains assessments, games, and task cards that cover ALL of the NGSS 3rd grade NGSS standards. The material is printable AND Google Ready for Google Classroom. It even includes a final test that is SELF-GRADING IN GOOGLE FORMS!

    The final test has 40 questions covering ALL of the standards. It is in Google Forms, and is Self-Grading! Perfect for distance learning (at home elearning). Students use Ipads, Chromebooks, Laptops, Desktops, etc.

    The games can be played competitively in school, but also can be played remotely at home for distance learning. They were created in PowerPoint format, and can easily be played with a PowerPoint reader. Not only have I worked as a teacher for 30 years with a Highly Qualified Status, but I also have spent 15 years writing state and national assessments, such as the SATs, ACTs, and individual state assessments that align with the Common-Core standards. This includes grading, item writing, and passage writing for these assessments.

    Define a simple design problem that can be solved by applying scientific ideas about magnets. Examples of problems could include constructing a latch to keep a door shut and creating a device to keep two moving objects from touching each other.
    Develop models to describe that organisms have unique and diverse life cycles but all have in common birth, growth, reproduction, and death. Changes organisms go through during their life form a pattern. Assessment of plant life cycles is limited to those of flowering plants. Assessment does not include details of human reproduction.
    Make a claim about the merit of a solution to a problem caused when the environment changes and the types of plants and animals that live there may change. Examples of environmental changes could include changes in land characteristics, water distribution, temperature, food, and other organisms. Assessment is limited to a single environmental change. Assessment does not include the greenhouse effect or climate change.
    Generate and compare multiple possible solutions to a problem based on how well each is likely to meet the criteria and constraints of the problem.
    Analyze and interpret data to provide evidence that plants and animals have traits inherited from parents and that variation of these traits exists in a group of similar organisms. Patterns are the similarities and differences in traits shared between offspring and their parents, or among siblings. Emphasis is on organisms other than humans. Assessment does not include genetic mechanisms of inheritance and prediction of traits. Assessment is limited to non-human examples.
