Identifying coins is very hard for the little eyes of kinders and firsties. The quarter looks so much like the nickel and the dime seems like it's the same as the nickel. With this set, your students will get more practice identifying which coin is which. They'll see both the front and the back.
This activity gets your students up and moving around the room. It's great for a brain break and they'll learn something at the same time. Just put four colored pieces of papers in the corners of the room. Orange, red, blue, and purple. The students will walk to the corner they think matches the correct answer.
The more you do this activity the better their understanding is.
