This is a great ice-breaker activity to encourage conversation and mingling on the first day back to school. Teachers and students can learn a lot about each other, in a fun way.
1) 4 numbered photos
2) Prompts (Choose a photo that represents...)
3) Reflection questions
Instructions: 4 different photos to be placed around the room. The teacher reads out different prompts and students choose the photo that best represents how they feel. For example, the teacher might ask how they felt about coming to school this morning, and students will choose the photo that they think best represents their answer. In their chosen corner, students are asked to share their ideas with others in their group.
I have also included a reflection sheet with 3 questions for students to complete at the end of the activity.
Thank you! This activity has been a hit with my students in the past. Hope you enjoy!
