Students will enjoy these 4 activities designed around a map of a city that they create. After they design their map and label typical places in the city ( skyscraper, stoplight, etc), They will share their map by conversing with classmates using "queda." Next they sit back to back with a partner and play a guessing game using a small plastic counting bear or any sort of marker. One students hides his bear and the other guesses in Spanish. For homework students practice using directions by writing about where things are on their map in relation to others.
