No matter what the age, the 4 seasons are a super-fun topic.

With that in mind, I decided to make a writing prompt craftivity using a seasonal window.

This activity is versatile; you can make a 5-9 page booklet, or simply use the 4 worksheets as a separate activity, then hang up the completed projects on a bulletin board or hallway display.

I’ve included a cover for the booklet, as well as several posters to enhance your display.

Diversifying your lessons is also easy.

Younger children can simply write one sentence under their window, then illustrate it, while older students can expand their descriptions on an additional page, which is trimmed with seasonal graphics.

Also included, are checklists for students to jot down ideas, as well as 4-part graphic organizers, plus a rubric, which will help jump start and improve writing.

As always, there are full-color patterns so that teachers can quickly & easily make an example to share, plus black & white templates for students.

Be sure and check the PREVIEW to see what’s included, plus samples.

I’m Diane from Teach With Me, wishing you a fun time window gazing.
