-a Word document with all you need for a 10-15 minute bellringer for 7th-8th grade language arts in one document laid out by each day for first quarter (you will need to change the dates)
- a 40+ slide PowerPoint (one for each day of the quarter)
-4 quizzes and a test over the 40 vocabulary words (word of the day)
-6 quizzes over the daily grammar practice with parts of speech focus
-the format I give to students on how to set up their "Jumpstart notebooks for bellringers" that includes a M-F plan for homework that correlates with the grammar and vocabulary from the bellringer.
Each jumpstarts includes:
-a daily grammar part of speech focus (everything from concrete, proper, abstract and proper nouns to gerunds and correlative conjunctions, all covered over the course of one quarter of school)
-a word of the day vocab word and definition for your word wall
-a quote of the week on Mondays
-a stem of the week Tuesdays through Thursdays
-an opportunity for students to respond to the quote of the week on Fridays during "Free Write Fridays"

Here are the ten words for the first list so you can see the level:
