185 thought provoking prompts to get your students thinking. One for every day of the school year plus a few extra! All set on a beautiful old school style black chalk board background for simplicity.
These prompts include intention setting, growth mindset, personal growth, life path, career, deep thinking, and a few lateral thinking questions. Each should be able to be answered in a short paragraph. Each question should get them thinking about themselves, their future, their mindset, and friendships. There are a few repeats of growth mindset questions at the beginning and end of the year, and the last question asks the students to review their previous answers and write about how they have changed.
Put one up on your interactive smart board (or project it on the wall) for 5-10 minutes at the beginning or end of class. If they can’t get it done in that time discuss how to use these writing prompts. Grading is easy if done for completion, or grade on spelling and the grammar you have been working on.
