These 24 multiplication task cards cover the following objectives:
*Understand how multiplication and division are related.
*Relate division and subtraction.
*Use multiplication properties and division rules.
*Use the Associative Property of Multiplication to solve problems.
These task cards only cover basic multiplication facts. In my math text book, our first multiplication chapter just covers the above objectives. I will be working on the next set of task cards which will cover multiplying multi-digit numbers soon. Please look carefully at the preview pictures to see what types of questions are covered on the task cards.
An answer document for students to record answers is included as well as an answer key.
Task cards can be used in a variety of ways. I like to spread them around the room and have students "scoot" around the room to answer the cards.
