Product Description
Welcome back to Carly Theory!

This PowerPoint presentation will teach students about Frank Big Bear (Native American Minnesota artist) and Self-Portraiture. Vocabulary words that students will accumulate are: Frank Big Bear, Self-Portrait, Line, Shape, Asymmetrical vs. Symmetrical, and Value. It is important for students to understand and USE the Elements and Principles in art. Also, many students are so used to making everything symmetrical, so it's a nice lesson to show them asymmetry. Kids LOVED learning about this artist and loved creating their self-portrait in a different way. :)
