This Math Spiral Review Notebook and PowerPoint provide an excellent tool for students to retain and master all common core standards. It will also encourage students to visualize and construct pictures to help them make sense of problem solving. 160 Pages, that's over "650" 4th grade common core questions. Each page includes areas for students to work out their problems!
I Just recently created this book (color print and bound) for my entire class. The graph background provides my students with vertical and horizontal lines to draw diagrams to depict their mathematical understanding. The colors and diagrams are vivid and engaging!! Each page includes problem solving! The 1st week consist of 3rd grade standards, then each week as a lesson has been taught more questions are added. Pacing guide is included!!
You could use this Spiral Review (Math Review) with graph composition books. (you can get these at Wal-Mart or Office Depot for $1.99) Students are able to use these graph journals to show their work and answer questions in multiple ways. you could put one slide on the projector everyday, then the students copy all questions and answer them by showing all work. I usually make my higher level students show more than two ways. Then you can pick a couple of students to display their work on the Elmo (document camera). "Displaying and Encouraging Student Work is very important in our new mathematical practices!!! I've used math review journals for the past three years. In order for spiral review (math review) to be effective, I've added questions each week tied to standards that I've already taught. This way, you can see the many skills gaps and actually see what misconceptions your students are having. By the end of each year, my students are ready for the state test. I haven't had to spend weeks on review for our state tests!!

**Pacing Guide: This pacing guide displays the days of implementation of the standards on the math review.
Answer Key is not included: Most of the questions are open-ended questions, you will be surprised by how many ways your students will show you how they get an answer, or solve a problem. THAT'S COMMON CORE!!!!
