Description
This document is for a paperless classroom and will work with laptops or iPads. If you don't have access to Google Classroom, you can still use it as a PowerPoint presentation, share via a thumb drive, or in printed form.
An interactive digital notebook will become a reference for you and your students throughout the year. It is a great way to keep track of the standards you have taught and a way for students to see what they have learned.
Included in this digital notebook are a number of folders that you can assign all at once or as needed. All of the 4th grade reading standards are covered: Literature (RL), Informational (RI), and Foundational Skills (RF).
The notebook is organized so you can assign a section at a time. If you are working on the setting of a story, you can assign that section of the notebook. If you want them to return to the section on informational text, you can leave the due date open and they can continue to access the slides throughout the year.
Each section contains:
A cover slide that double as their “name slide”.
An “I can statement” for each standard and a brief explanation of the topic.
Images, information, and an activity for each standard.
Supplies needed:
a device (laptop or iPad)
Google Docs (or Google Classroom) or PowerPoint/Keynote and a storage device (thumb drive)
Once you copy the folder to your own drive, you are free to present the information in any format that works for you. Rearrange slides, folders, etc.
What you need:
1. Internet access and a Google account.
2. A device to present the information to your students or individual devices and Google Classroom.
How the Process Works:
1. Purchase the digital lesson.
2. When prompted, click to “Copy to My Drive” or "Add to My Drive". This will automatically make a copy of the editable product that you purchased and add it to your Google Drive.
3. Move the file the drive folder of your choice, or share it with your students via Google Classroom.
