Interactive Notebooks serve many purposes in the classroom. The notebooks become an “anchor” for the standards taught, as well, as a reference that your students can use throughout the year. I have found that my students are SO proud of the finished product. They love seeing all of the language skills they have learned in one place.
This notebook covers ALL of the 4th grade Language Standards:
In this product you will find:
A cover for the notebook
An “I can statement” for each standard to glue at the top of the notebook page
Printables to create each page
Dividers for each Language strands
Photos of each page of the notebook put together so you have an idea of how the materials can be used
Each student will need:
A composition notebook
Crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils
Copies of the materials for each standard
You will find that I have included several of the same images on each page to reduce copying.
I hope that you find this instruction tool to be beneficial for your students. I feel confident that your students will love creating these as a way to reinforce the reading standards.
