Product Description

These are tried and true reviews I have used with my 4th grade math students. These reviews follow Florida 4th grade math standards and specs. I have used these in my classroom to expose students to multi-step word problems, open-ended, multi-select and multiple choice questioning they will see on the FSA.

To keep students motivated, I would offer a prize if they made a 100 on these reviews as well as showcasing their work on a “brag board”. Since these assessments cover a broad range of skills, they also gave me a snapshot on which skills needed to be addressed in small group or as a class. After we reviewed the skill, I would return their graded assessment to allow students to correct any missed questions for half credit.

This can be used anytime of the year, homework, FSA review or summer practice.

These practices are assigned form numbers for easy tracking and each review has an answer key. They cover the following skills:

Form 1: Fractions

• Adding & Subtracting Mixed Numbers (with & without regrouping)

• Illustrating a Mixed Number

• Multiplying a Fraction by a Whole (also includes repeated-addition fraction equation)

• Interchange a Mixed Number and Improper Fraction

Form 2: Mixed Operations

• Determine the Quotient (also includes using multiplication to check)

• Determine the Missing Addend up-to Hundred Thousands

• Word Problem: Determine Missing Sides Based on Area

• Word Problem: Determine Possible Measurements Based on Area

• 10 Times More

• Expanded Notation

• Word Problem: Multi-step Money
