Wondering how to help your 4th graders solve word problems? Problem of the Week will help them develop problem solving strategies, critical thinking, and communication skills. In about 10 minutes per day, your students will engage in problem solving activities to build their problem solving skills!

Problem of the Week uses challenging multi step word problems to review 4th grade math skills such as place value relationships, comparing and rounding whole numbers, adding and subtracting whole numbers, and multiplying and dividing whole numbers. This easy to prep routine uses one problem per week and encourages students to persevere, engage with one problem over multiple days, give and receive feedback from their peers, and revise their work.
