The Extra Practice/Homework product is ideal for intervention, a quick daily practice, work station activity, or even homework. It was created to be a supplement to the Texas Tornado Spiral Review product.
The pages can be mixed up to work on the concept you are needing to work on. You can cut the pages up as well if you wanted to just work on one concept at a time. This would be especially beneficial for RTI Intervention.
There are 3 Problems per page: 2 practice problems at the top and a Problem of the Day in UPS-Check Format at the bottom of the page.
Each Set has 3 pages, so that would be for 3 days per week if you are using one set per week. (Total of 9 problems per week—18 pages total—54 problems total)
This is Part 3 (Sets 13-18) and includes concepts we worked on or reviewed around the 13th - 18th weeks of school. However, it can be used at any time of the year as a quick review or to fill in gaps.
How I use this product in my classroom:
I use this in conjunction with the Texas Tornado Daily Spiral Review that can be purchased here: "4th Grade TEKS Texas Tornado Spiral Review
I put these problems on the back of the Daily Spiral Review. My students who need extra help, come to my table during intervention time, and we work on the problems together. The students who do not need as much help work on their own at a math workstation. I allow them to work together and help each other. Then on Friday, I give a quiz that is independent, so I still will know what they can do on their own. (The quizzes I give are not included in this product, but can be purchased separately.)
