    Description

    This bundle contains writing prompts and quizzes for four novels that 4th graders love! The no-prep resources in this bundle will help you enjoy reading these books with your class instead of worrying about preparing activities.

    This bundle contains the following resources for each book:

    Quizzes

    → Quickly assess student comprehension

    → Cover many CCSS-ELA standards and elements of fiction including: vocabulary, cause and effect, main idea, summarizing, character analysis, sequence of events, story details, comparing and contrasting, problem/resolution, and much more

    → One quiz for every few chapters

    → Every quiz contains: 1 short-response, 3 multiple-choice higher-order-thinking questions (except the quizzes for Skinnybones, which are four multiple-choice questions)

    → Questions and answers written in standardized test prep form

    → Match the rigor required of CCSS

    → Answer key provided for all quiz questions.

    → Requires students to use important skills: summarizing, characterization, cause and effect, figurative language, author's purpose, vocabulary strategies, and personal reflection

    → Simply print and go! Space for response is provided.
