I went through the unit documents for our campus and district and the TEKS for all of the parts of ELA and separated them out.
We can now go through like a check list and say:
• “done but probably should review that…”
• “oh no we haven’t covered that!”
I use this to help me guide my lesson planning, then closer to the STAAR test or Benchmarks, I print out a new copy and use it to review with my students.
