Your students want to know... what did their teacher do on spring break? Let's do some 4th grade math review to find out! The answers are totally wacky, of course! It's bound to get loads of laughs!
The math skills reviewed are: order of operations (no exponents), long division, multi-digit multiplication, and 1 and 2 step story problems.
There are 10 cards, each with a math problem on it and 5 possible answers (all of which are wacky). You can do this as stations, post the cards around the room, have the students get the correct answer before getting the next card, or give each group all the cards. Whichever way works best for your class!
Each student gets an answer sheet to show their work and fill in the blanks to create the wacky spring break story that the teacher (supposedly) had. This resource is editable if you want to change any answers or questions.
This resource comes with:
Student answer sheet (in both .docx and .pdf)
10 Question / answer cards (an editable .ppt file, a .pdf file, AND a link to make a copy of the file in Google Slides)
