Let your students express themselves for the 4th of July using this 8.5 x 11 Independence Day poster. This poster will look great hanging outside your classroom as you head back to school after the holiday break, and parents will enjoy reading them when they are sent home.
The 4th of July poster activity has plenty of places for students to add their own creative touches with color.
The sections for the students to fill out are:
*Place for their name
* What does independence mean to you?
*How as our country formed? (NOTE: If you have not covered this, they might not be able to explain it)
*How do you celebrate the 4th?
*Write a Patriotic acrostic poem about the United States.
*What would the founding fathers think of America today?
*Should fireworks be illegal? yes or no Explain.
Use as a center activity or even as morning work. Use it in your classroom however you would like.
