Product Description
This game is appropriate for any student that has mastered the strategies (procedural knowledge) for the facts, and it is easy to adapt for any grade level 1st-7th grade. In 1st or 2nd grade, simply allow the students to use only addition or subtraction. 3rd graders can use addition, subtraction, or multiplication (after they have developed the procedural knowledge for determining the answer for the multiplication facts). All students 4th grade on up, should be ready to play 5 Card Draw using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. If you are unsure if the student has mastered the procedural knowledge and is ready for this game, try the game “Math Fact Sort”; also found on Caissie’s Corner.
