Day 2: Students will draw a picture that could be included in the book and will write a caption with their picture.
Day 3: Students will write a letter to someone who they think would enjoy the book. They will be asked to explain why that person might enjoy it.
Day 4: Students will choose what they think the structure of the book is, and will be asked to explain why they think that is the structure.
Day 5: Students will come up with the main idea of the book, as well as details and quotes to support the main idea.
