Final Project Overview 

A one page overview and checklist of the final project process.  Students are asked to select one of the final projects, and then complete the 2 Question project plan.  They are asked to specify which project they plan to complete, and provide an explanation as to why those selected that project.

Project Planning / Brainstorming Activity 

Each project includes a brainstorming / planning activity.  Each activity specific worksheet provides students with an opportunity to generate ideas for their final project, and serves as an opportunity to assess student learning and understanding.    

Detailed Assignment Sheet

The download includes detailed assignment sheets for five projects that can be done with any novel.  The projects are:

  • Yearbook Pages
  • Fakebook Page
  • Movie Poster 
  • Identity Box

A detailed assignment and instruction document is included in the download that lays out expectations and requirements for each project.  

Book Outline

A document that can be used with any novel to help guague students comprehension, and help them gather necessary and useful information that can help them complete their final project.  

Final Project Written Response Assignment 

Students are asked to complete a written reflection after they have completed their final project.  The written response asks students to reflect upon not only their product, but their process as well.  Students are asked to reflect upon their final product, as well as reflect back upon the process.
