Hello!

This is a set of 5 different fraction and decimal games ranging a variety of activities. It is 125 pages of easy to use and learn games/activities for students to practice their fraction and decimal skills. All games include directions. They are great to add to math centers or stations!

My students love these activities - it is another great way to bring fun to learning. Instead of using worksheets, have them practice their skills while playing a game that they love!

In these games, the following skills will be practiced:

*Equivalent fractions
*Comparing fractions
*Ordering fractions
*Being able to convert fractions to decimals (tenths and hundredths)
*Being able to represent decimals as parts of a whole
*Problem solving skills
*Critical thinking
*Game strategy

These are a lot of skills that will be practiced in addition to being fun! Better yet, the kids will want to keep playing these games - which makes them the biggest supporter in their own learning.

What is included:

A.) Fraction + Decimal Conversion Matching Game - Differentiated for Grades 4-5

This product is a must have for any teacher wanting their students to practice converting fractions to decimals, or decimals to fractions. With this matching game, students will get consistent practice, while also having fun! It is played the same way as a typical memory/matching game is played.

There are a total of 114 cards, but you can remove certain cards, or add certain cards in to differentiate it to certain groups of students, or specific grades and standards. The direction sheet shows which pages of the product has the different types of conversion cards.

When it is your turn, you flip a card over. If it is a fraction, convert to a decimal, if a decimal, convert to a fraction. Then, flip over a second card and see if they match!

When playing this game, students will be practicing:
*Being able to convert fractions and decimals (tenths and hundredths)
*Being able to convert fractions and decimals (Thousandths)
*Being able to convert fractions and decimals (Halves, Fourths, Eighths)

*These are challenge cards! You can add these in to differentiate towards students who are already experienced with fractions and decimals

B.) Fraction + Decimal Shading Visual Models Matching Game

This is a great product for anyone introducing how to represent decimals and fractions in models to their classrooms. With this matching game, students will get consistent practice with representing tenths and hundreths (represented as both fractions and decimals) in square models - and have fun!

There are a total of 90 cards - you can create your own sets to differentiate to different students. For example, if you want students only to practice decimals, or only fractions, or maybe only tenths, etc.

Students will be practicing:
*How to represent fractions (tenths and hundreths) as part of a whole
*How to represent decimals as parts of a whole
*How to represent tenths and hundreths in visual models

Students will be able to practice and use various strategies for comparing fractions - the best part is they won't even notice because they will be having so much fun! My students absolutely love playing this game, some even opted to play it during recess!

*Teachers can remove or add cards depending on what groups of students are playing to differentiate to the appropriate level! The directions include some possible variations for beginners, regular playing, and two levels of challenge

D.) "Rat-a-Tat Fractions" game

This is a take on the very popular kids card game "Rat-A-Tat-Cat" - some others may be familiar with another very similar card game called "Golf". It includes the fun of those games, with the learning of a classroom!

Students will be able to practice and use various strategies for comparing fractions - the best part is they won't even notice because they will be having so much fun! This is another one of my students' favorite games, I hope it will be your students as well!

E.) Fraction Tic Tac Toe - Game Adding Fractions and Mixed Numbers

This is a great hands on game/activity/math station or center that can be used to practice adding all proper fractions, and mixed numbers (mixed fractions) while of course, having lots of fun. My students absolutely love this game. It is an adaptation of the classic "Tic-Tac-Toe" game many people have played.

There are a total of 10 different game boards! Directions included!

Students take turns placing pieces on different fractions - the goal is to get 3 fractions in a row that equal a specific total that is designated at the top of each board. For example, if the board says "Make 1" - students must get 3 fractions in a row that when added together, equal 1.

When playing this game, students will be practicing:
*Problem solving skills
*Critical thinking
*Game strategy

This games/activities are a great tool to use after lessons, for math centers, or for extension/challenge activities for students. Each game/activity can be differentiated for all of your students! My students enjoyed each and every one of these games, and I wanted to share them with all of you. These games helped my students both enjoy our fractions and decimals unit, but also really understand and grasp the concepts that were taught.
