"Mr. Cummins, can you help me with my drawing?"
Of course, but this is really already a pretty good drawing of a squished spider.
"It's supposed to be a star."
Even for experienced artists, traditional 5-point stars are difficult to draw perfectly and time-consuming to draw using mechanical drafting techniques. This is particularly true for younger students. As a time-saver, this star template works great. Students can select one of the multiple stars and trace directly to their artwork. In a situation where tracing is not possible, the stars may be transferred by applying chalk or pencil lead to the back of the template, laying on the target surface and tracing over the selected star.
