-What is it?-
A self-assessment checklist for students to fill in relating to any work you may be doing around the 5 point scale.
-How can it be used?-
We use this at our school for our KS3 and KS4 pupils to help identify situations that may cause incidents or issues around the child's needs or personal preferences.
It can be used with those on the spectrum or with any other pupils; whether they have extra needs or not. 5 Point scale work can be really beneficial to teach all students to help them learn their own preferences and to teach them about their emotions and ways they can regulate themselves in different situations.
-What is the 5 point scale?-
The 5 point scale is a great way to non-verbally communicate how someone is feeling. It is clear, colourful and simple, which makes it easy to use and remember during situations that cause stress, anxiety or anger!
