E pluribus unum! Students studying U.S. history and geography can familiarize themselves with each state’s flag and various symbols or practice quizzing themselves on the state’s capital on the foldable. Use these as study guides to review for tests or provide them as an enrichment activity to students traveling to other states to learn about the location. Hand these out when students present a 50 states research report as a review of what was learned for students to take home.
***Please download my FREE Alaska State Facts and Symbols Cootie Catcher to view a sample of what is typical (state symbols and facts vary) for each state.*** Alaska’s cootie catcher is also included in this bundle for convenience when downloading all fifty states altogether. Hawaii's Cootie Catcher is unique because it features the Hawaiian word, English word, and phonetic pronunciation for numbers one through eight and for another eight different words.
Each of the 50 state cootie catchers can be printed on 8.5”x11” paper and have instructions for how to fold the cootie catcher printed directly on the paper. Each cootie catcher has three different printing options: full-color, color-saver, and grayscale.
