576 Clocks on Differentiated Time Task Cards

All of our classrooms include learners at various levels of telling time. The idea for a set of differentiated Time Task Cards emerged to fill that need for various levels of telling time skills within each classroom.

24 Task Cards with 24 Clock Faces or Digital Times on each card for the differentiated levels of skills. CCSS 1.MD.3, 2.MD.7, 3.MD.1, TEKS 2.9.G., 3.7.C. Answer Forms are provided. Please see Preview which, because of high quality clock graphics, could only be representative sample.

Easy Task Cards (A, B, C, D, E, F) have time to the hour, half-hour, and quarter after the hour. These are further leveled with two that concentrate on telling time to the hour, two to the half-hour, and two to the quarter hour.

Medium Task Cards (G, H, I, J, K, L) have time to the hour, half-hour, and quarter hours.

Regular Task Cards (M, N, O, P, Q, R) contain every time to the 5-minutes as there are 144 unique clocks on these 6 cards.

Advanced Task Cards (S, T, U, V, W, X) contain 20 clocks telling time to the minutes, and 4 clocks at the regular level.

Easy and Medium Task Cards can be BINGO cards by using the answer sheets for G and L as calling cards. The times are intentionally, not randomly sorted.

Many times students see the BINGO format and want to play the game. Include Regular and Advanced cards, which are not designed for BINGO, and have them “race” to see who can finish the first with the most correct answers. The differentiation of the cards will “level the playing field”.

You may want to laminate and then place the Task Card with the Answer Card in a protective page cover to extend the life of these cards.
