This packet is one that I love to take for a grade once we've already learned fraction concepts and equivalent fractions. The answers for the first 27 problems are listed on the back page of the packet for students to use to assist them in writing their final answers in simplified form. All answers must be reduced to lowest terms and all improper fractions turned to mixed numbers. I usually allow students to work on this during class. Those that understand math catch on quickly and can just run with it. Those that can't, sit with me at the back table. Because the answers are out of order on the back page, it serves as a guide to tell students if they are doing each problem correctly.
