A Quick Description

This is a bundle of 10 math classroom transformations where students get to pretend they are actually in different careers!

Print out all 10 posters and all 10 aligned worksheets for each classroom transformation. Distribute them around your room. Give each child a recording sheet. Explain to students that they will become that career (scientists, race car drivers, cooks, etc.) and will need to complete all ten challenges around the room! They have to find all ten challenges you've left hidden around the classroom and find the answers to each one. They use the recording sheet to mark off each challenge as they go.

There is ALSO an additional writing activity where students scan the QR codes on each poster and find out fun facts about whatever career they are completing that day! This math activity is perfect for fifth graders. It aligns with common core standards.

There is an editable challenge paper included. This means if one of the challenges doesn't work for your classroom, you can make your own! There are ten pre-made challenges included for you to use but we all know sometimes changes are necessary to best fit your classroom :) These challenges are aligned to Common Core and TEKS.

This is a perfect review activity before giving a math assessment or as an extra practice activity. Step by step lesson plans are included so you know exactly what to do. It can be used as a spiral review and is easy to set up and implement. The QR codes add in technology as well. Classroom transformation ideas are a new trend in education and can set the stage to engage!

These classroom transformations can be used for elementary children as a worksheet alternative, printables, in math stations, center rotations, math centers, as enrichment or remediation, in small groups, as test prep, as worksheets,  escape room alternatives, homework practice (take what you don’t finish home for homework), printables, and so much more! How Does a Digital Classroom Transformation Work?

First, invite your students into a video call on whatever learning platform your school district uses. Set the scene and tell your class online what themed day they will be completing.

Then, assign your students the Google Slides™ activities that come with this digital classroom transformation. Each digital classroom transformation is interactive and has movable pieces for students to enjoy playing with. Every activity can be modified for what works best in your virtual classroom! A digital cover page, digital recording sheet, 10 digital challenges, and a digital certificate are included in the Google Slides file.
