5th Grade Common Core Daily Writing and Reading Skill Review!
This resource includes a daily reading and writing skill warm-up for every day of the week. The prompts cover almost all of the reading and writing standards with engaging questions such identifying a theme for the last televisions show they viewed, using neither/nor in a sentence about a past weekend's event or recalling the tone of their last dream. This interactive notebook can be used weekly, monthly or for weeks leading up to their state reading and writing standardized exam. It is an excellent comprehensive test review of the 5th grade reading and writing standards. Perfect morning work!
I have placed a blank template in each of my student's writing folders in which they use on the appropriate day and write their responses on notebook paper.
Whereas this resource is aligned to the CCSS reading and writing standards (standards are listed for every prompt), it may be used with any 5th grade writing and reading curricula.
