Product Description
This instructional PowerPoint unit is a 21-slide presentation that introduces/reviews basic editing marks, commas in a series, apostrophes in basic possessive noun situations, identifying fragments vs. run-ons, and fixing run-on sentences. I usually use this PowerPoint both at the beginning of the year to introduce basic editing, as well as before the state-wide Writing SOL test to review. There are slides for teacher instruction, examples, as well as slides for interactive student involvement with SMARTboard pens. There are sample sentences for students to edit, with total number of errors indicated at the end of each sentence. I'll be posting more of these Grammar Editing PowerPoints in the future - hopefully you will find them useful in your classroom!
