I have created a review/recap for each chapter of our History Alive textbook. The review activity highlights the information I felt was most important in a page or two. It has been helpful in my class as a way for students not to get overwhelmed with the amount of information and we use it as a way to take notes, then they glue it into their history notebooks (composition books). The exit slips I make are directly linked to Kentucky's core content for Social Studies, but are also a direct connection to the chapter recap note pages. They are designed to be used together. This includes both the recap & exit slip for chapter 4.
