Here are 5th grade unpacked 1-9 CC standards for informational text.
There are multiple ways to use these bookmarks. These can be used to target a specific standard, or to generate many ideas at once.
Have groups of students read a select passage, chapter, etc. and respond to a given task that taps a standard. Or, give a different standard to each group.
Have students share their answers, and write them on a poster to display.
Students can record their brief answers on the back of the bookmark.
In order to save time, a good practice is to laminate them, or even enlarge these to poster size and place in the classroom for all to view.
