Line Plots with Fractions Scavenger Hunt Cards makes it fun to practice solving problems using the information presented in line plots.
These cards were created to support the 5th grade Common Core standard for line plots. All line plots contain fractional units by 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8. Additionally, most of the problems require students to use the operations of fractions that they have learned for this grade level.
On top of being aligned to the standards, these cards are both fun and simple to use! As the teacher, you will place the cards in secret places all around the room. Students will hunt for a card and solve the line plot problem on that card. Then, students will hunt around the room trying to find the answer to the problem they just solved on a new card. When they find the card with that answer, they'll solve the problem shown on that card and then go on a hunt again. Students will love moving around the room trying to find their next question card!
Included with this Line Plots with Fractions Scavenger Hunt Cards set:
•Instructions for play
•30 line plot scavenger hunt cards
NOTE: In order to save ink, the graphics on these cards are black and white. They look best when printed on colored paper, as shown on the cover image.
