This Turkey Craftivity is the perfect spiral review for your 5th grade math standards. With 24 different expressions at three different levels, differentiation could not be easier. Students will need to evaluate the expression on their turkey and then use their value to complete the tasks on each of the six feathers. There are also blank feathers included to fill your turkey or to create your own task for students to complete. An answer key for the expressions is included.
This activity is already ready to go. Simply print out the number of turkeys you need, along with the number of feather sheets you will need.
This Turkey activity is a great way to asses and review what your students know and also provides a piece of student work to display for the Fall season! This activity is aligned with 5th grade Florida Math Standards and based on FSA item specs, and touches on these math skills:

MA.5.MAFS.5.NBT.1.2 - [Standard] - Explain patterns in the number of zeros of the product when multiplying a number by powers of 10, and explain patterns in the placement of the decimal point when a decimal is multiplied or divided by a power of 10. Use whole-number exponents to denote powers of 10.

MA.5.MAFS.5.NBT.1.3.a - Read and write decimals to thousandths using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form, e.g., 347.392 = 3 × 100 + 4 × 10 + 7 × 1 + 3 × (1/10) + 9 × (1/100) + 2 × (1/1000).
