Product Description
Tracking student mastery of state and Common Core standards is so important. We use that data to drive instruction and to meet the needs of our kids. Data tracking becomes more powerful when students are taught how to assess their own level of mastery. This product is designed to help! This product can be used for students to independently practice Place Value standards, and to independently evaluate mastery of the objectives. There are eight task cards per standard, giving students ample opportunity to practice, and then determine mastery level. The options for implementation are endless!

Texas TEKS:
5.2A Represent the value of the digit in decimals through the thousandths using expanded notation and numerals
5.2B Compare and order two decimals to thousandths and represent comparisons using the symbols >, <, or =
5.2 C Round decimals to tenths or hundredths

Common Core Standards:
5.NBT.A.3.A Read and write decimals to thousandths using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form, e.g., 347.392 = 3 × 100 + 4 × 10 + 7 × 1 + 3 × (1/10) + 9 × (1/100) + 2 × (1/1000)
5.NBT.A.3.B Compare two decimals to thousandths based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons
