Students will love these Valentine's Day themed stations where they practice multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers (10 problems) and multiply the cost of an item by a whole number (2 problems). Students may start at any of the stations, solve the problem and then get up and walk around to find their solution at the top of another station. Regardless of where students begin, they will be taken on a cycle of all 12 questions. This is a fun way for students to get up and move around as well as getting instant feedback that their answer is correct by finding it at the top of their next station. This activity allows teacher the ability to work with struggling students while all students are actively engaged! Rotation stations are always a favorite of my own 5th grade students!
