If you are looking for no prep weekly math warm-ups for each day of the week, this is the perfect resource for you! I created these for my fifth grade class that struggled VERY much with word problems, so they may start off easy but do get increasingly more difficult. My students needed a lot of repetition, so that is what you will find in this resource. Each week focuses on a specific type of word problem such as multiplication word problems, multistep word problems, area and perimeter word problems, etc. These word problems were made to be cut out for each day, but could be used as a whole sheet as well. I always used the Friday warm-up as a quick formative grade considering it would be the fifth day practicing the same concepts :)
For each warm-up, there are three questions. Two of the questions are something quick such as rounding or multiplying, and the third question is always a word problem. I found that having three questions took up about 5 minutes which is perfect for a warm-up, and you still have time to review as a class if needed.
*TOPICS COVERED THIS WEEK: Multiplication of decimal numbers, prime and composite numbers, elapsed time, start time, and end time word problems*
These warm-ups were such a nice, stress-free system in my classroom and I hope they can work for you too! If you would like the word document version so that you can edit to adjust for your students, please let me know! :) Answer key included!
