With references for rounding, place value, plotting additive patterns on a coordinate grid, coordinates, powers of 10, metric measurements, dividing decimals, decimals vs. their fractions, adding fractions, multiplying fractions by whole numbers, dividing fractions by whole numbers, dividend, divisor, quotient, remainder, PEMDAS, numeric and algebraic expressions, improper fractions, proper fractions, mixed numbers, simplifying, and classifying quadrilaterals, this word wall is a great addition to a 5th grade math classroom. The references are integrated wherever possible (ex: "additive pattern" is shown on the part of the word wall that is for plotting points) so that students can make connections between the different parts of their curriculum.
The majority of the word wall is in black and white so that you can color code it the way you would like to help your students make connections. There are color versions of the fraction multiplication, fraction division, fraction addition and dividing decimals references that can either be used as a coloring guide or can be printed out in color. Everything prints on 8.5x11 computer paper (the graph you see in the photos is the size of a piece of computer paper).
