This packet contains a full lesson for teaching how substances can be identified in regards to matter. Most of the packet is designed to take notes, but there are also passages to read to support the notes, and there are two research investigations for a hands on experience. The investigation(s) tests identifying substances, as well discussing physical and chemical changes. Additionally, there is a quiz included for assessment purposes.
