This is Version 2 with new questions!
This is a PowerPoint review game that is based on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? The questions in this game deal with 5th Grade Science concepts that were taken from the NC Essential Standards for Science.
Some of the questions that appear in the game are:
Which device is used to measure temperature?
Which of the following organisms is a consumer?
Which example best shows structures of the respiratory system?
What weather conditions are most likely to be expected when a high pressure system moves in?
Here is an overview of how the game works:
This is similar to "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader", but there are no categories, peeks, copies, saves, or drop outs.
Students will be placed into 6 teams (or less). They will then chose question based on difficulty. The hardest questions are worth 5 points and the easiest are worth 1 point.
After all 10 questions have been answered, students will have the opportunity to double their point total by answering the final question correctly. If they answer incorrectly, they will lose all of their points.
To reveal the correct answer, the teacher or a student will click the apple on the page.
*The questions in this PowerPoint game are the same as the Flipchart version.
