This is a review power point that covers a variety of skills that 5th grade students are required to know on standardized tests. You will receive 5 slides. Each slide will contain a sentence to correct, a math word problem, an analogy that covers academic vocabulary, and a variety of science and social studies questions. Each slide has 5 - 6 questions. Some of the topics covered are order of operations, civil war, decimals to fractions, equations, shapes, area, plant and animal cells, place value, water cycle, and photosynthesis to name a few. In addition, you will also receive a 5th slide that would be appropriate for a journal. This slide discusses Arbor Day and students are asked to write about a fabulous tree house. This is a great way to help students tap into their imaginations and incorporate language arts skills that have been taught throughout the year.
This is a great way to review skills taught that will be tested. It is great to be used as a starter as well. My students complete these each morning while I am taking attendance, lunch count, etc. They earn tickets to when they get all of the questions correct. They cash these tickets in for rewards in the classroom.
Please be on the lookout for more review products to prepare your students for state testing! Thanks!
